Safety First...

When upgrading your cart, safety is an important issue. Most new and rebuilt carts are not offered with seat belts as standard equipment. Safely is as if not more important than performance when considering upgrading your golf car. As golf cars provide very little protection, an accident should be avoided at all costs! While prudent and courteous driving habits contribute greatly to safety, certain things can be done to enhance your cart's safety.

These enhancements include:

  • Driving lights to provide adequate lighting for nighttime safety
  • High mounted turn and stop lights so you can be seen easier
  • Seat belts*
  • LED cornering lights or reflectors (Florida state law requirement for nighttime driving)
  • DOT rated tires for safer and smoother performance

Stop by Steve's Golf Cars Unlimited today to discuss how you can make your cart safer. It's all a part of saving you money as we upgrade your present cart! We invite you to visit our new Accessories Showroom.

*NOTE: Due to the aluminum or steel frame and fiberglass body design of today's golf cars, installation of seat belts should not be construed as providing the same level of safety found in automobiles. Use of seat belts in golf cars can prevent ejection in case of an accident, which is often found to reduce injury or the risk of death. Seat belts should never be used in lieu of common sense. For your own safety and the safety of others, DO NOT drink and operate any motor vehicle, including golf carts.
